2. Purpose

The purpose of iTakeout.co.uk is to provide an improved experience in ordering takeaway food online, linking customers with restaurants via the website. By becoming members, users can view and order again their previous orders as well as rate past orders. To learn more about the website see the How it works page on the site.

3. Placing an Order

iTakeout.co.uk works alongside reputable third parties who are restaurants. However iTakeout Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any aspect of the goods delivered by or collected from said third parties. Users must therefore be confident in the restaurants they are ordering from.

By placing an order through iTakeout.co.uk users are agreeing to purchase the specified order. Any orders placed through iTakeout.co.uk cannot be cancelled through the website. Users will receive an email confirming their order with full details of their order including an order number.

The delivery or collection time (whichever is chosen at the ordering stage) is purely a guide. The restaurant will endeavour to meet the specified time, however due to factors often beyond their control the stated time may be affected and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

If a user wishes to cancel an order before it is delivered or are unsatisfied with the food receieved they should contact the restaurant directly. As orders are generally cooked immediately upon receipt, iTakeout LTD cannot guarentee that orders can be cancelled once placed. Full contact details for the restaurant are provided when ordering food and on email confirmations of orders.

4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

iTakeout Ltd does not guarantee that access to this website will be uninterrupted, that this website will be free from viruses or that this website cannot be tampered with by third parties. This website and the information are provided on an 'as is' basis, with no warranties of any kind whatsoever, either express or implied. Use of this website and the information is entirely at the user's sole risk. In no event will iTakeout Ltd be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of or related to this website. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with this website and/or information is to stop using the site.

No refunds can be given in the event that an order cannot be delivered if your personal details (such as contact telephone number) and / or delivery address is inaccurate.

Users of the site also agree for any information submitted to the site (such as an address or credit / debit card information) to be stored by iTakeout Ltd for the purposes of fulfilling the order (with specific exception to the credit / debit card security code or CVV / CV2 digits). The five star rating system is used by members to rate restaurants based on their own personal opinion, and are provided purely for information purposes. These ratings do not represent the opinion of iTakeout Ltd. They only represent the opinions of registered members who have purchased from the rated restaurant. Users should not rely on these ratings to place (or refrain from placing) orders.

10. Termination

iTakeout Ltd reserves the right to remove any individuals right to use the site, withdraw permission to link to our site, restrict certain use of the site and prevent any further use of the site for any reason we see fit and at any time.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to English law. All claims or disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of the websites shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
